Is undergraduate teaching better at UIUC or Boston College?

For a student whose priority is consistently accessible professors, discussion-based classes, and a college-wide emphasis on undergraduates, Boston College has the clearer advantage. UIUC can provide an excellent undergraduate education, especially when its particular program is a strong match, but Boston College is more likely to deliver the intimate teaching environment you describe across majors and from the first year onward.
