Which offers better undergraduate research opportunities: UIUC or Colorado State?

I’m a high school senior deciding between UIUC and Colorado State for an undergraduate degree in a STEM field. Research opportunities are important to me, especially the chance for undergraduates to join faculty projects and gain meaningful experience, so I’m trying to compare the two schools on that specific factor.
