Which is better for hands-on makers, Stanford or MIT?

I’m a high school junior who enjoys building physical projects, prototyping, and working with tools more than focusing only on theory. I’m comparing Stanford and MIT and want to understand which school generally offers a stronger hands-on maker culture and environment.
