Does UC Davis require SAT scores for admission?
I'm a junior trying to figure out what parts of my college list still care about test scores. UC Davis is one of the schools I'm looking at, and I keep seeing mixed information online about whether the SAT is required or even considered.
I want to know if I need to plan around taking it for that application.

UC Davis does not require SAT scores for admission, and it does not consider SAT or ACT scores in freshman admissions decisions.
What matters more for UC Davis is your coursework, grades, activities, and the PIQ responses on the UC application.
The main reason you might still take the SAT is if other colleges on your list require or consider it, or if you want it for certain scholarships outside the UC system. But for UC Davis itself, no SAT planning is necessary.
