MIT also has substantial life-science and biomedical research activity, so health-tech does not mean giving up the healthcare angle.

Emory can be compelling when the startup idea depends heavily on understanding care delivery, patients, public health, or the medical system. Emory’s connections to Emory Healthcare, the School of Medicine, and public-health research can give a founder valuable proximity to real healthcare problems.

For overall undergraduate entrepreneurship, especially for technology and technology-enabled healthcare, MIT is the stronger choice.
