Is Georgia Tech test optional for undergraduate admissions?
I’m a junior starting to build my college list, and I’m trying to understand what test optional actually means for Georgia Tech.
I have a solid GPA but my SAT score is weaker than the rest of my application, so I’m trying to figure out whether submitting scores is optional there or if they expect them.

For first-year undergraduate admission, Georgia Tech is not test optional. It requires either SAT or ACT scores from freshman applicants.
So if you apply as a senior, you should plan to submit an official SAT or ACT score as part of your application. A strong GPA helps, but it does not replace the testing requirement at Georgia Tech.
