Penn’s campus is in University City, adjacent to major hospitals, research institutions, neighborhood organizations, and public transit into Center City. That proximity makes short-term, part-time, and semester-long Philadelphia commitments far more realistic.

For research and health-related work, Penn students have especially direct access to Penn Medicine, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and faculty labs across campus.
