At Lincoln Center, the location makes it more realistic to attend an interview, work a few weekday hours, or participate in industry events without treating the internship as a separate summer plan. A Rose Hill student can access the same city, though the commute makes Lincoln Center the more convenient Fordham option for this purpose.

Boston University is a strong choice for a student who values its communications programs, Boston-based opportunities, and a larger national alumni reach. BU has alumni in New York media and can help students pursue NYC summer internships, but its Boston location makes in-semester New York work substantially less practical. For a career specifically centered on NYC media and communications, Fordham provides more immediate and repeatable access; BU makes more sense if you would be equally happy developing experience in Boston before moving to New York after graduation.
