Dartmouth is likely the closer match if you want traditions to be highly visible in everyday student life. Its small, undergraduate-centered community and quarter-system calendar make campus rituals feel woven into the rhythm of the year, from First-Year Trips and the Homecoming bonfire to Winter Carnival, Green Key, and regular community gatherings on the Green. Students also tend to identify strongly with class-year traditions, the outdoor culture, and a campus social scene that is concentrated in Hanover.
