Yale vs. Cornell: Which College Has Better Campus Activities?

Both campuses are exceptionally active, but they create different kinds of involvement. Its compact New Haven campus makes it relatively easy to move between classes, rehearsals, meetings, and friends’ events.

Ithaca’s setting is a real advantage for hiking, gorges, skiing trips, climbing, and other outdoor recreation, while Cornell’s club and intramural sports scene can appeal to students looking for active competition without varsity athletics. Greek life is also a more prominent part of social life at Cornell than at Yale.
