How does pre-med advising compare at Emory University and the University of Florida?

Emory is likely to feel more structured and personally connected for a student who wants frequent, centralized pre-med guidance and easy access to an academic medical center. Emory College’s Pre-Health Advising supports course sequencing, clinical and research planning, application strategy, and interview preparation, while Emory Healthcare, the Emory School of Medicine, and Atlanta-area public-health institutions create unusually convenient opportunities to explore medicine. The smaller undergraduate environment can also make it easier to build sustained relationships with professors, research mentors, and advisors.
