Emory stands out for students drawn to close faculty mentorship, the Atlanta professional and nonprofit ecosystem, and opportunities connected to Emory Healthcare. Review each major’s transfer prerequisites, remaining graduation requirements, and how many of your current credits will apply; a transfer can lose time if course equivalencies do not line up.

Campus life will also feel different. UCLA has major athletics, extensive student organizations, Westwood’s dense college atmosphere, and access to the wider city, though transportation and the cost of Los Angeles can shape daily life.
