Emory is especially well positioned for students interested in Atlanta-based business, consulting, healthcare, public health, research, nonprofits, and entrepreneurship. The Goizueta Business School has longstanding employer relationships in the city, while Emory’s connections to major healthcare institutions and the broader Atlanta professional community can be valuable well beyond business. Living in Atlanta for four years also matters: classmates, internship supervisors, student-organization contacts, and professors can become an early local network.

Boston College can still lead to an Atlanta career, particularly for a student drawn to its strong alumni culture, Jesuit educational environment, and Boston-area recruiting access. BC alumni are active nationally, including in Atlanta, and a motivated student can use alumni outreach, Atlanta-based summer internships, and regional networking events to establish a foothold. Its strongest day-to-day recruiting concentration, however, is closer to Boston and the Northeast.
