How does campus housing differ between Rice and Yale?

Rice offers the more immediately immersive, campus-centered residential experience, while Yale provides an equally meaningful residential-college identity within a larger and more urban daily environment. At Rice, students are assigned to one of 11 residential colleges and typically remain closely tied to it throughout their undergraduate years.
