Which UC is better for student activism: UC Santa Barbara or UC Berkeley?

Berkeley fits students who want activism woven into daily campus life and are comfortable navigating a fast-moving, sometimes intense environment. Student groups, ASUC-affiliated organizations, cultural centers, and issue-based coalitions offer many entry points, but the scale of the campus means a student may need to be proactive about finding a specific organizing community.
