Which offers better undergraduate research opportunities, the University of Georgia or Purdue?

I’m a high school senior deciding between the University of Georgia and Purdue, and undergraduate research is one of my top priorities. I’m especially interested in how accessible research opportunities are for students early in college and how much faculty involvement undergraduates typically receive.

Purdue is the more compelling choice if your intended field is engineering, computing, or a research-intensive STEM specialty and you are prepared to seek out professors and labs early in your first year.
