Its training is based at Purdue University Airport, so students learn in an active airport environment with dedicated aircraft, simulators, and aviation faculty.

The biggest practical advantage is the program’s structured integration of degree coursework and FAA-approved flight training. A student can progress through certificates and ratings within a clearly sequenced university program while earning a bachelor’s degree, rather than needing to assemble training independently.
