Carnegie Mellon vs. Stanford: Which is better for undergraduate innovation?

The tradeoff is that CMU’s innovation culture tends to feel more technology- and research-driven, while Stanford more naturally combines technical experimentation with venture creation, design thinking, and broad access to the Bay Area network. A student excited by rigorous CS and ambitious technical products could thrive at either school, but Stanford has the wider day-to-day platform for undergraduate entrepreneurship across disciplines.
