Yale vs. University of Rochester: Which Is Better for an Undergraduate Neuroscience Major?

The biggest practical tradeoff is Yale’s broader undergraduate liberal-arts environment and unusually wide biomedical research ecosystem versus Rochester’s more tightly focused brain-science community with especially close connections to its medical center. Its neuroscience preparation is rigorous and well suited to graduate school, research, medicine, or related fields.
