Johns Hopkins is also extremely difficult to enter, particularly for applicants drawn to STEM, public health, biomedical research, and pre-medical pathways. Its applicant pool is especially deep in advanced math and science preparation, research, and sustained technical or health-related involvement. A student with a strong, focused scientific profile may find Hopkins a particularly natural match, though that does not make admission predictable or easy.
