Northeastern vs. UMass Amherst for Computer Engineering: Which Offers Better Hands-On Experience?

I’m a high school senior deciding between Northeastern and UMass Amherst for computer engineering. I’m especially interested in project-based classes, internships, research, and opportunities to apply what I learn outside the classroom, so I’m trying to understand which school provides stronger hands-on experience overall.

The challenge is that translating those opportunities into repeated industry experience takes more proactive networking, applications, and planning.
