Fordham is the more practical choice for building a professional network in New York because you would be studying in the city and able to develop contacts throughout all four years.

UMN Twin Cities offers a strong alumni network and excellent professional opportunities, particularly in Minneapolis–St. Paul and across the Midwest. A UMN student can still reach New York through summer internships, alumni outreach, and targeted recruiting, but doing so requires more self-directed planning and often travel or a summer in the city.
