For someone who pictures a concentrated undergraduate community, easy access to friends, and a recognizable campus-centered weekend culture, UMass is more likely to deliver the fun they have in mind. Visit each campus on a weekday evening if possible: the atmosphere after classes often reveals the difference more clearly than a formal tour.
