Which is stronger for undergraduate applied math, MIT or Columbia?

I’m a high school senior interested in studying applied math and possibly combining it with computer science or engineering. I’m deciding between MIT and Columbia and want to understand which school offers the stronger undergraduate environment for applied math, including coursework and research opportunities.
