Students aiming for New York can still get there from Tech, but they will need to be more intentional about internships, travel, and networking.

For a career in traditional New York finance, Fordham is the more direct choice because its location and alumni access create a clearer undergraduate pipeline. Choose Georgia Tech instead if you are genuinely drawn to a more technical education and see yourself using finance alongside data, computing, or technology; that combination can be more valuable than New York proximity for the right career path.
