Which has a more fun student life: Virginia Tech or the University of South Carolina?

Its location in Columbia gives students access to a larger city, restaurants, concerts, nightlife, and off-campus options. South Carolina also has a visibly active Greek-life and SEC sports culture, especially around football weekends.

Virginia Tech has an exceptionally spirited campus culture, but it is centered more tightly on Blacksburg and the university itself.
