Which has a stronger Greek life culture: San Diego State or Miami University of Ohio?

Miami University of Ohio has the stronger and more campus-defining Greek life culture. At Miami’s residential Oxford campus, fraternities and sororities are highly visible in student social life, leadership, philanthropy, and weekend events. Greek life is a longstanding tradition there and can feel like a central organizing feature of the undergraduate experience.

Miami fits a student who wants a classic college-town environment where joining a chapter can substantially shape their friend group, social calendar, and campus involvement.
