Morningside Heights has its own student-oriented routines, and nearby neighborhoods provide parks, restaurants, and local character, but internships, performances, research, and social plans may pull students across the city. The tradeoff is that New York can feel faster, more crowded, and more costly, while students need to be proactive about building a stable community amid so many options.
