Case Western vs UCLA for chemistry: which is better for an undergraduate chemistry major?

I’m trying to decide between Case Western and UCLA for chemistry, and I want to focus on the undergraduate experience rather than overall prestige.

For pure undergraduate experience, I would lean Case Western for chemistry unless there is a specific UCLA advantage that matters to you, such as cost, location, or a particular research area. UCLA is outstanding, but for an undergrad who wants close access to faculty and a department experience that feels more personal from the start, Case Western is often the more comfortable and undergraduate-friendly place to study chemistry.
