At Georgia, SEC sports, especially football, shape a lot of the shared energy on campus, and Athens itself adds a lively college-town scene with music, bars, restaurants, and a strong weekend social culture. Purdue has plenty of pride too, but the day-to-day atmosphere is usually described as more grounded and less built around big-event spectacle.
