For career outcomes in tech or engineering, Stevens usually has the clearer edge. Its location in Hoboken puts students right next to New York City employers, the school is heavily career-focused, and its co-op and internship culture is built into how many students gain experience before graduating.

Stevens’ biggest advantage is proximity and employer access. Being across the river from Manhattan makes it easier to intern during the school year, attend employer events, and build connections with firms in finance tech, software, engineering, and consulting.
