If your question is narrowly about accounting outcomes rather than overall campus life, Illinois is the one that most often gets the nod.

UIUC tends to stand out for students who want the broadest recruiting reach. Major accounting firms recruit there heavily, and the Gies ecosystem gives accounting students access to a large business-school network, frequent employer touchpoints, and a program that is especially well known among recruiters. It is also a strong choice for someone who may want flexibility within business.
