For a math career, is the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign or Dartmouth the better choice?
I’m a high school junior trying to figure out which college would set me up better for a career in math. I’m looking at both UIUC and Dartmouth, and I know they’re very different schools.

UIUC gives you a much larger math ecosystem, with more course breadth, more adjacent strength in statistics, computer science, and engineering, and a campus where quantitative fields are a major center of gravity.
