Does Dartmouth accept the Common App or do they have their own application?
I'm starting to put together my list of schools for this year, and Dartmouth is one of my top choices. I'm a bit confused about whether they use the Common App, Coalition App, or if they have their own unique application portal. I know some Ivy League schools have different requirements, so I don't want to miss anything important.
Has anyone here applied to Dartmouth recently? Did you use the Common App, or was there a different process? If there's anything special about Dartmouth's application that I should know about (like unique essay prompts or supplemental requirements), I would really appreciate your advice.
I'm trying to get a head start so I don't end up rushing at the last minute!

Dartmouth College accepts the Common Application, so you won’t need to learn a separate application platform for this school. As of the most recent admissions cycles, Dartmouth is not on the Coalition App or any other independent platform—you’ll apply via the Common App website, then select Dartmouth as one of your schools.
After you choose Dartmouth on the Common App, you’ll also find their college-specific supplemental writing requirements in the "Writing Supplement" section. For the 2024-2025 cycle, Dartmouth typically requires one main essay from the Common App prompts, as well as supplemental essays that focus on your intellectual curiosity, personal background, and potential contributions to the campus community.
