Cal Poly absolutely has strengths, especially hands-on learning and a classic California setting, but BU usually feels more dynamic day to day if you want variety and stimulation beyond the classroom.

BU sits in the middle of Boston, so your college life includes the campus plus a major student-filled city with concerts, restaurants, sports, museums, and internships close by.
