When does Dartmouth release its admission decisions?
I'm a current senior waiting to hear back from Dartmouth and the suspense is getting to me. I applied Regular Decision, and I've looked online but there’s a bunch of different dates floating around about when the admission decisions actually come out. Some say late March, others say early April, and a few mentioned specific days, but nothing definitive.
Can anyone who has applied in previous years or who knows this year’s date chime in? I’m trying to plan ahead, especially for when I’m supposed to hear from other schools too. If anyone has details on whether it comes out in the morning or evening or if Dartmouth tends to stick to their announced date, I’d appreciate it. This last stretch of waiting is rough!

Dartmouth typically releases its Regular Decision admissions decisions in late March. For the 2024 application cycle (class of 2029), Dartmouth released decisions on Thursday, March 28th. The college usually posts the specific date on their admissions website a few weeks ahead.
As for the time, most applicants report that decisions go live at 7:00 pm Eastern Time. You’ll receive an email prompting you to check the applicant portal, but if you’re feeling anxious, you can log in yourself right at the announcement time.
Hang in there during this last waiting period! You’re almost at the finish line. If you have any other questions about materials or what to expect post-decision, feel free to ask.
