When are Dartmouth RD decisions usually released?

I’ve applied to Dartmouth and I’m anxiously waiting to find out when the Regular Decision results typically come out. I keep checking the admissions website and past threads, but I’m still not sure exactly what date to expect.

Does anyone know when Dartmouth usually sends out RD results? If you have experience from previous years or are applying this cycle too, I would love to know what you’re hearing.

I’m kind of on edge and just want to be prepared for the exact day so I don’t obsessively refresh my email for weeks.

Dartmouth typically releases its Regular Decision (RD) results in late March. For the past few years, the results have been announced around the 28th or 29th of March. For example, in 2023, decisions were released on March 30th. The college usually releases a public statement or updates their admissions webpage a few days beforehand with the specific date and time, often in the early evening Eastern Time.

If you want to be extra prepared, watch for any posts on Dartmouth's official admissions blog or social accounts around the middle of March. Other applicants often share updates on student forums as soon as the college officially announces the decision date.

To help with the waiting, consider setting up your phone or email notifications so you don't have to manually refresh your inbox every few minutes. And as hard as it is, try to keep yourself busy on decision day—for many students, the portal typically goes live at around 7:00 PM ET, but the college will confirm the exact time in their announcement.

Wishing you the best as you wait for decisions! The waiting can be tough, but at least now you can circle late March on your calendar and (hopefully) breathe a little easier until then.
