How does Baylor admissions difficulty compare to Rice University for undergraduates?

Rice is much harder to get into than Baylor for undergraduate admission. The two schools attract different applicant pools, and Rice is in a distinctly more selective tier nationally, with a smaller class size and a process that is more competitive across academics, activities, and essays. Baylor is still selective enough that admission is not automatic for many students, but it is considerably more accessible than Rice.
