Fordham is typically the stronger choice overall for a communications major if your priority is building a career in media, public relations, journalism-adjacent work, or strategic communications. Its students benefit from being close to major outlets, agencies, nonprofits, and corporate offices, which can make internships more frequent and more varied during the school year, not just in the summer. That kind of proximity often translates into stronger resume-building before graduation.
