Lehigh and USC can both be very social, but the feel is quite different day to day. Lehigh’s undergraduate social scene is more campus-centered and contained, with a lot of weekend activity tied to the student body itself, especially in a traditional residential setting in Bethlehem. USC feels bigger, busier, and more spread out, with student life happening on campus, in Greek life, through clubs, and across Los Angeles.

Lehigh tends to suit students who want a tighter community where people often know each other across classes, dorms, and organizations. Because Bethlehem is a smaller city and the campus social world is relatively self-contained, weekends often revolve around campus events, friend groups, Greek life, and nearby off-campus houses rather than a huge range of outside-city options. That can make it easier to build a consistent circle quickly, but some students feel the social scene narrows if they do not connect with the dominant campus rhythms.

USC works well for students who like constant variety and are comfortable taking initiative.
