King’s College London is an excellent university, but its degree structure is more specialized and less centered on the U.S. pre-med process, which can make med school preparation less straightforward if you plan to apply in the United States.

For pre-med, Case Western has a real advantage because it sits next to major hospitals and is deeply connected to a medical-school environment. That matters for shadowing, clinical volunteering, research, and recommendation letters, all of which are core parts of a strong U.S. med school application.

King’s has strong academics and outstanding biomedical prestige, especially in London, but it is not designed around the same applicant profile.
