University of Washington vs Washington State for college experience: how do they compare?

University of Washington gives you a big-city college experience in Seattle, with a dense campus, lots happening off campus, and a student body that often feels busy, independent, and spread across many interests. Washington State feels much more like a classic college town, where Pullman revolves around the university and campus life tends to be a bigger part of students’ routines and social circles.
