It is particularly well positioned for students targeting the Northeast, especially Philadelphia, New York, and nearby finance and corporate hubs. Recruiting can feel more curated, and for some students that translates into a smoother path to internships because it is easier to get involved early and be known personally.

If career opportunity means the widest national platform and the highest number of recruiting lanes, Ohio State has the edge. If it means tighter access, a more intimate business community, and stronger East Coast proximity, Villanova is very appealing.
