Florida in Gainesville is a stronger match for students who want the scale and excitement of a flagship school where academics and campus pride are both intense. The atmosphere around football, student organizations, and campus traditions is a huge part of daily life. Gainesville is very much a college town, so the university dominates the area more than Arizona does in Tucson, which can make the student experience feel more immersive.
