It is widely regarded as one of the top engineering universities in Asia, has especially deep strength in core fields like electrical, mechanical, civil, and computer-related engineering, and carries very high prestige with graduate programs and major employers. Arizona State is a solid and well-resourced engineering school, but in a head-to-head comparison on reputation alone, Tsinghua has the edge.
