How does campus size compare between the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and UConn?

UIUC feels bigger and more spread out than UConn in day-to-day life. Its campus stretches across the twin cities of Urbana and Champaign, with a dense academic core but a wider overall footprint that blends into city streets, restaurants, apartments, and buses. UConn’s Storrs campus is also large, but it tends to feel more self-contained and easier to mentally map as one unified place.
