How do Purdue and Georgetown compare in admissions difficulty?

The biggest practical tradeoff is that Georgetown is a highly selective private university with a more uniformly competitive applicant pool across the board, while Purdue is a large public research university where admissions difficulty varies a lot more by major. In overall admissions difficulty, most people would view Georgetown as harder to get into than Purdue.
