What is campus life like at the University of Miami compared with NYU?

University of Miami has the more traditional campus-centered student life, while NYU feels much more integrated into the city itself. At Miami, students spend a lot of time on a defined residential campus in Coral Gables, with school spirit, campus events, and a more contained social scene. At NYU, daily life is spread across Manhattan, so the city functions as an extension of campus and students often build their routines around neighborhoods, internships, restaurants, and events off campus.

One big difference is physical environment. Miami has a classic campus with residence halls, green space, dining areas, and a stronger sense that students are all living and socializing in the same place.
