Is James Madison University or Penn State better for communications?

Its School of Communication Studies is well regarded, and JMU has a good reputation for engaged undergraduate instruction and practical communication training. In a field like communications, where internships, portfolios, campus media, and networking matter a lot, JMU can absolutely set students up well.

The main difference is that Penn State often has more depth and visibility, while JMU may feel more accessible day to day.
