University of Rochester vs Wake Forest: which school has the more fun campus life?

The biggest practical tradeoff is that Wake Forest tends to have the more visibly social, tradition-heavy campus scene, while Rochester often feels more low-key, intellectually driven, and self-directed. Wake has a stronger residential-campus vibe, major school spirit around athletics, and a weekend culture that is easier to plug into quickly. Rochester absolutely has active student life, but the energy is usually less outwardly “rah-rah” and more shaped by clubs, friend groups, music, research, and campus events than by one dominant social scene.
